Molicel stands out from 200 TESC and OTC Firms, Becoming
the Ninth Strategic Alliance of Ministry of Finance in Tainan
Science Park.
In 2005, the Directorate
General of Customs ‘selection firms for “Basic Rights and Benefits
of Strategic Alliances of Custom and Dealers, Porterage, Scientific
Centres, Tax-retaining Factories, and Process Exporters” policy
was announced. E-one Moli Energy Corp. (Molicel) was chosen
for its superior management and strict policies. It is the
ninth firm in Tainan Science Park to attain the approval from
the judges.
Starting 2003, the Department of Finance
launches the “Basic Rights and Benefits of Strategic Alliances
of Custom and Dealers, Porterage, Scientific Centres, Tax-retaining
Factories, and Process Exporters” Policy. It benefits those
that pass the standard requirements four main ways. These include
decreasing taxation on exports; higher efficiency for self-examination
and reports; zero escorting; minimum deposit payments on taxed
equipment, repairing equipments, and inspecting products. Finally,
it provides the most updates law and services on identification
training of intellectual property and smuggling.
To be fit for the selection process, the firm must be more than
ten years old or possess superior management and high credit rating.
Not only so, it cannot have broken any law within the last five
years. Additionally, its logistics and finances must be computer
monitored, complete running system, and up to custom’s various
standards and requirements. The selection process is very strict,
with only 1% of nominated firms making the cut every year.
Through limited resources, thorough management system, and good
custom check record within the last few years, Molicel obtained
a high rating. It further adds to its positive image by noticeable
progress in logistics efficiency, decreasing of transporting cots,
and other sorts of great strategies. Therefore, it became one
of the only two firms in Tainan Scientific Research Centre to become
the newest strategic alliance of Directorate of General Customs.
Up until now, only nine firms within Tainan Scientific Research
Centre have received such honor, Molicel included.
Molicel continues to meet customer needs and expectations by improving
management standard, and coordinating with government benefits
program and supports. Optimistically, it will achieve a more competitive
edge in the international playing field.

cellular-phone, PDA, DVD, digital camera, laptops, and other
commercial digital wares. Other developments include medical
equipments, electrical motors, power tools and firearms and
other sorts of expertise markets.
