Moli Energy launches a shoes embedded battery.
Battery
is not only applicable for Mobil phones and notebook
computers, in the future, more and more personalized
commodities will be using batteries as the energy source. E-One Moli Energy has co- developed a shoes embedded
cell battery with famous shoes maker who is the major
player in the sports ware industry and having million
pairs of shoes sold all over the world. The two companies
will further collaborate to seek other possibility for
sports related battery application.
Li-ion polymer has no restricted
dimention specification, and it has more flexible in daily
usage.We believe shoes and hiking gear will eventually have
the demand for such technology. One of the most foreseeable
applications is using battery to generate heat to maintain
hiker, claimer, runner and sailor’s body temperature.
E-One Moli Energy modified its production line to adjust
to the newer and compacter mobile phone cell size. From
the original thickness 86mm to 63mm, this trend is primarily
to satisfy the increasing demand for smaller Mobil phone;
in May this year, E-One will have its first 5mm production
line. In the category of notebook computers, the safety
verified 1cm cell will be out to trial production in three
weeks; in the beginning we are only be able to produce 1k
per day.The company’s 1cm thickness notebook battery has
pass the safety and reliability tests internal, and E-One
will be supplying the still yet to matured market with the
Trial-Run line (1000 unit/day).
The demand for Mobil phone batteries is on a upward-declaiming
slop due to the over all slow economy; E-One realizes the
situation and is reacting by seeking other battery application.
