Company Profile
E-One Moli Energy Corp., established in March 1998, is headquartered in Tainan Science Park with R&D and manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and Canada. We develop, manufacture and market rechargeable lithium-ion batteries; under the trademark e-one trademark, E-One Moli ranks among the most reputable battery core suppliers in the world, such as Sanyo and Sony. In 2004, E-One Moli was awarded the “Most Potential Company in Taiwan” by CommonWealth Magazine, and went on IPO in July of the same year.

Year 2004 was the turning point for E-One Moli Energy in terms of operative strategy. Prior to that, E-One Moli Energy focused on applications for notebook computers, high-end electronics and networking communication devices with its high capacity energy cells. To comply with the social responsibility that recognizes the importance of environmental awareness, E-One Moli Energy partnered with North American power tool company giant, Milwaukee Electric Tools to develop a high energy power cell for cordless power tools.. In 2005, E-One Moli Energy introduced the first Power cell-IMR26700 and became the first company to manufacture power tool specialized lithium-ion batteries in mass production quantities.

In 2006 and 2007, E-One Moli Energy became a major world-class battery supplier in the power tool market. Global power toolmaker TTI Group also recognized our excellent capability and many of its subsidiaries place E-One Moli Energy on their Preferred Vendor List. Aside from the success in the power tool market, automotive giant Ford also recognizes E-One Moli Energy and has placed orders to acquire batteries for electric vehicles. In addition, many Telecommunication Companies in North America have consigned E-One Moli Energy to manufacture uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. With the increasing demand of cells in the field of power tools, electric vehicles and UPS systems, it is not hard to predict that E-One Moli Energy’s best years are yet to come.
